OPEN PUBLIC FORAYS
LIMC invites the public to join us free of charge at the following two forays at Muttontown Preserve, Oyster Bay and at Brookhaven State Park, Ridge. Both will start at 9:30 AM and will last to about noon. Beginners may expect instruction in the identification of edible and inedible species, and an explanation of the role of fungi in natural habitats. Directions below.

(Non-members can join us on other forays, which take place on Saturday mornings, June through November, for a $5 fee, which is applicable to membership. If you would like to do so, please email us prior to the Saturday of your choice, and we will supply you with directions to the site of our next foray.)
